Horse riding fashion has evolved over the centuries, reflecting the current trends and rider’s needs, with several Haute couture designers inspired by the natural elegance of riding a horse, launching their own equestrian collections.
Whilst safety and comfortability for the horse, are still of paramount importance, over the years the fashion scene has crept slowly into horse’s tack. From bridles and browbands, horse rugs and boots, to saddle pads and girths. After all, if the rider looks good, why shouldn’t the horse!
Pink Equine was launched to meet this demand and they have been offering matching bespoke horse tack since 2007. Passionate about providing a high level of attention to materials, craftsmanship and detail, Pink Equine has managed to combine these qualities with a very personalized shopping experience.
With the recent launch of Pink Equine’s custom-built online design software, customers can design anything from a Swarovski stone set browband, and matching colour piped bridle, to a sheepskin girth and over 40 different styles of saddle pad, all from the comfort of their own home.
The thousands of colour combinations, trims, ropes, and piping means customers can design a product that is not only unique but one that matches their existing horse tack or even their own riding outfit.
Denise Field Managing Director commented “We are really excited about our design software. It has taken a while, but we are very pleased with the results and the positive feedback has been overwhelming. The design software is very addictive as there are so many different possible permutations. Even during testing, we found ourselves caught up in the endless choices and the excitement of coming up with new colour combinations.”
The design software (Pink Equine likes to call “The Configurator”) is very easy to use. Customers can simply choose the horse tack that they want to design and then they are presented with a blank canvas and all the configurable options on the left-hand side, (leather and stone colours, choice of sheepskin, trims, ropes edging, materials etc) Once they are happy with their design, they can add it to the cart, save it or even print it out to show their friends what they have designed.
Denise said “Although our products are fashion conscious, we have not skimped on quality or functionality. We insist on using only the very best Italian leather, and each item is hand-stitched and hand-finished. All our ranges have been designed primarily with the horse’s welfare in mind.”
Pink Equine are also excited to announce the addition of the Mattes collection of equestrian products now available on their website. Mattes equestrian products range from English and Western saddle pads, contoured saddle pads (Numnah’s) and half pads, to seat savers, sheepskin, and leather girths, fly veils, horse boots and even horse rugs. Visitors can see an example of the Mattes Collection here: https://www.pinkequine.com/horse-saddle-pads/
Mattes attention to detail, product quality, and bespoke manufacture, match Pink Equine’s high standards and fit seamlessly with their own bespoke range of horse tack.
Denise said “Mattes totally fit with our ethos and we have included all their products on our configurator. Their saddle pad range is out of this world, top quality and supremely comfortable. They offer so much flexibility, and the wide variety of options means that you can order a pad that will fit perfectly. We have customers who come back time and time again. Mattes wide range of colours and styles can be coordinated with our own bridle work, and we have many customers who create complete matching collections for their horses.”
