She is an evidence-based equine rehabilitation specialist. She teaches and trains using compassionate communication techniques such as positive reinforcement and clicker training.

Dale is the president of Pure Joy Horse Haven Equine Sanctuary and Education Center, a not-for-profit organization that restores horses with severe behavioral issues, emotional trauma, and physical challenges, and provides them with a safe and loving life-long home.
